Dr. Madhavan Jagannath MD, passed his MBBS from JNMC, Belgaum and MD from KMC, Hubli, has more than 40 years experience in the field of Anaesthesiology, and heads the Department of Anaesthesiology. His present interest is in the management of anaesthesia in patients for Cochlear Implants for deaf children and Laser surgeries. To his credit he has anaesthetized the maximum number of cases of Cochlear Implants, the highest in the country. He also anaesthetized the first Brain Stem Implant in Chennai, along with his team which was first of its kind in South East Asia.
He has taken part as a faculty member in many National and International conferences.
He has a vast exposure and knowledge regarding the management of anaesthesia for laser surgeries. He has been a mentor for many anaesthetists in India and abroad teaching them the knowledge and art of anaesthesia techniques for Laser Surgery.
His inputs in the field of Anaesthesia was recognized by The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, which awarded him the "Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012".

Dr. Kanagapriya R MBBS, MD

Dr. Kanagapriya R graduated from Government Sivagangai Medical College & obtained her masters from IACC, Madras Medical College. Worked as a Senior Resident in Government Ramanathapuram Medical College.She is a finalist in poster presentation titled Anaesthetic management in a super-obese case of MNG with retrosternal extension posted for total thyroidectomy in RACE 2022. She has taken part in many hands on airway workshops. She did her thesis in USG guided ESPB versus Thoracic Paravertebral block in nephrectomy patients.

He has a special interest in the field of Allergy and Immunotherapy and underwent a "Clinical fellowship in Allergy" in Southampton United Kingdom. Had his training in Interventional pulmonology from the USA & Europe and Lung transplantation training from Australia. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians USA and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society. He was conferred the "Best Doctor" Award from The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University in 2012.

Dr. S. Subramanian is a compassionate Pediatrician and Developmental Pediatrician with over two decades of experience in caring for children’s health and development. With advanced qualifications, including an MD in Pediatrics and a Diploma in Pediatric Neuro-Disability from the UK, he specializes in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental needs. Dr. Subramanian is also highly skilled in general pediatrics, offering expert care for newborns, managing childhood illnesses, and guiding preventive healthcare for families.

Known for his approachable and empathetic nature, Dr. Subramanian combines clinical expertise with a holistic understanding of each child’s unique needs. Dr. Subramanian has significant teaching experience, having mentored postgraduate students as part of a DNB Pediatrics program and currently serving as a fellowship teacher in Developmental Pediatrics.His extensive teaching experience, including mentoring postgraduate and fellowship students, ensures that he stays at the forefront of evidence-based practices.

A graduate from Stanley Medical College in 1977, Dr. Sarada obtained her Diploma in Anaesthesia in 1979 from Stanley Medical College. Her area of interest is anaesthesia for Laser surgeries in ENT .She has taken part in many live workshops conducted in our hospital. She is a keen teacher and has trained many nursing assistants in anaesthesia.
